The Street Chestnut Hill, a new mixed-use property on Boylston Street, has had quite a debut year.
Several months ago, WS Development announced the first 14 business moving into the shopping complex. That first wave of shop openings came in June, and now another eight businesses are following suit and setting up shop there.
One of them, Winston Flowers, is actually returning to Chestnut Hill. The third-generation family-owned flower shop closed down in July while they waited for their new store in The Street to be finished.
“It has been an exceptionally special season for us as we introduced our new building, and with it, over a dozen incredible businesses to our community,” The Street General Manager Paige Steinberg said in a statement announcing the new arrivals. “We’re thrilled to keep this momentum going into the fall and look forward to celebrating these beloved local and national brands with both long-time guests of The Street and new faces discovering us for the first time. From women’s and men’s fashion favorites, to best in-class wellness and medical uses, to charming local eateries, there are so many ways to spend the day at The Street.”
Here’s a rundown of the new businesses coming to The Street:
- Bridgewater Chocolate, now open
- New England OB-GYN Associates, now open
- Mejuri (jewelry), now open
- M.M.LaFleur (women’s fashion), opening in the next few weeks
- Pink Carrot (dining, healthy food), opening in the next few weeks
- Winston Flowers, opening in the next few weeks
- SWTHZ (sauna and cold plunge studio), opening in September
- Brilliant Earth (jewelry), opening in September

Clearly, this year’s holiday shopping season in Newtron will come with style and swagger.
