Police have released a photo of the possible perpetrator of vandalism reported a couple of weeks ago on Homer Street, Kenwood Road, Manemet Road and Fenno Road, and someone in the photo is believed to be a suspect.

The perpetrator had placed small bags of dog feces near pro-Israel signs, and one sign was ripped from the ground and smeared with a red substance.

The photo police have released was taken by a resident’s security camera on Fenno Road on April 17 at 10:33 a.m., police said.

“The person walking the dog in the photos is believed to be the person that damaged the lawn sign in this case,” Lt. Amanda Henrickson said. “Officers canvassed the area with the photo multiple days. They have not been able to identify the individual in the photo.”

Henrickson noted that there is a resident in that area with a dog similar to the one in the photo, but the resident is not the person in the photo.

Police are asking anyone with information about any of the incidents to call the department’s Community Services Bureau at 617‑796‑2103, the anonymous tip line at 617-796-2121 or non-emergency line at 617-796-2100.
