Madhri Yehiya covers education and other local topics for the Newton Beacon. She began her journalism career while serving as campus news editor and chair of the board at The Daily Free Press, Boston University’s independent student newspaper. She graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism in 2025, where she specialized in investigative reporting.
