The annual Open Studios on April 5 and 6, featured work from more than 100 artists at studios throughout the villages.
Open Studios was founded in 1985 by artist Renee Rubin in collaboration with Linda Plaut and Judy Anderson from the city’s Office of Cultural Affairs. The event connects residents and visitors with local artists and give artists a chance to sell their work.
The event, which is held in studios, shops and homes, has grown to include so many artists it now has a map to find them all.
Local volunteer Howard Sholkin, who serves on the board of The Newton Beacon, attended and took photos.
