It may be cold outside, but Newton Community Pride brought the fun and entertainment to the winter season this weekend with the 4th annual WinterFEST celebration in Newton Centre, Cold Spring Park, Newton Highlands and West Newton.

The weekend started on the Newton Centre Green with ice sculptures and live music. On Saturday, there was a morning dog walk and an evening Soup Social. Sunday had a movie and a dance party.

Newton Community Pride is a nonprofit building community through free and accessible arts and culture programming, public art, beautification and service projects.
