Not sure what you’re doing for New Year’s Eve yet? Don’t want to go into downtown Boston?

Don’t worry—there are plenty of options in Newton. We rounded up some bars and restaurants open New Year’s Eve. Some close before midnight; others will be open into Jan. 1.

Baramor: Open 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Located at 45 Union St.

Bianca: Hosting a ‘Noon Year’s Eve’ party for families with small children from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 31, with activities and a buffet. Tickets are $54.31 per person, free for under age 2. Soft drinks included in price, alcohol not included (but there is a bar). Bianca is also hosting a Red Sauce Supper Club (intended for adults) featuring traditional Italian pastas and sauce. $45 per person; reservations required. Closes at 9 p.m. on Dec. 31; open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Jan. 1. Located at 47 Boylston St.

District 118: Open Dec. 31, but last seating for dinner is at 6 p.m. Will be closed Jan. 1. Located at 118 Needham St.

MIDA: Open Dec 31 with a special New Year’s Eve Italian tasting menu; closes at 10 p.m. Open Jan. 1 for brunch (noon to 4 p.m.) and dinner (4 p.m. to 9 p.m.). Located at 261 Walnut St.

O’Hara’s Food and Spirits: Open 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 31; closed Jan, 1. Located at 1185 Walnut St.

Olivia’s Bistro: Open New Year’s Eve from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a special menu. Located at 136 Adams St.

Paddy’s: Open from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on December 31; closed January 1. Located at 95 Elm St.

Tartufo: Open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on December 31. Located at 22 Union St.

The Dooliner: Open on New Year’s Eve until 2 a.m. DJ beginning at 9:30 p.m.; champagne toast at midnight. Located at 7 West St.

The Village Cafe: Open New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Located at 719 Washington St.

Ward 4: Open on New Year’s Eve, with live music from 7:30 p.m. to midnight. There will be a late night menu and a midnight toast; reservations requested. Located at 277 Auburn St.
