Turkey sandwiches. Turkey soup. Turkey and cranberry sauce casserole. So many leftovers to get through this weekend. You’ll also want to get up, stretch and move around. For that, Newton has you covered.

Here are four things to do in Newton this weekend.

Friday, Nov. 28

From 3 to 4:30 p.m., the Newton Free Library will host Lego Free Play for kids ages 6 and older. Kids can build, explore and create with Legos, and there will be building cards for inspiration on what to build.

From 3 to 4 p.m., the Newton Free Library will also host Shrinky Dinks, for kids in grades 5 through 12. Kids can create keychains, necklaces, magnets and more with traced photos of their pets or favorite things.

Saturday, Nov. 29

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Corpus Christi-St. Bernard Parish, located at 1524 Washington St. in West Newton will host its Poinsettia Festival.  The celebration will feature a silent auction, calendar raffle, a Christmas room, jewelry, raffle baskets, Santa’s mailbox, food and more. If you can’t make it Saturday, don’t worry. It runs on Sunday, too, and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there on Sunday for photos. Admission is free.

Sunday, Nov 30

From 2 to 3 p.m.: Listen to Ilana Zaks perform violin music in a variety of styles, including classical music and contemporary Jewish compositions, at the Newton Free Library at 330 Homer St.
