Wear a jacket. The rain is gone, but temperatures are expected to linger in the 30s and 40s for the next several days.
Here are five things to do in Newton this weekend.

From 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., the Newton Free Library will host a class for teens on making magnets out of photos and bottle caps.
Saturday, Nov. 30
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Ciociaro Social Club of Massachusetts will host its Winter Wonderland Holiday Crafts Fair at 144 Bridge St.
Sunday, Dec. 1
From noon to 2 p.m., the First Universalist Unitarian Society of Newton will host “FUUSN Social Action Presentation: Leadership Development in the Wake of the Election,” with Rev. Jo Murphy talking about her work as executive director of the statewide UU Mass Action organization. She will emphasize leadership development in the wake of the recent election results.
At 6 p.m., Moldovan pop-opera group Brio Sonores will perform a concert with special guest Olga Lisovska, “Holiday Magic by Candlelight,” at Newton City Hall.
From 6 to 8 p.m., the Nonantum Children’s Christmas Party Association will host its annual Tree Lighting at Coletti Magni Park. There will be hot chocolate, caroling and, of course, the lighting of the Christmas tree. Kids can bring a letter to mail to Santa, too.
