Today’s theme: Stress and Relaxation

This is part 1 of a three-part series that will meet for one-hour sessions over three months. We will provide tips for incorporating heart-healthy nutrition, relaxation strategies to mitigate the stress of everyday life, and provide stretching and strength training guidelines to reduce aches and pains. This is part of Newton Wellesley Hospital’s Community Collaborative Heart Health and Wellness Council. In this session, Beth Keane, Reiki Master, will present tips and tricks for understanding and managing stress. She will lead a conversation about stress and the impact it has on your health (some stress is good!). We will share tools and simple techniques for you to use to mitigate stress to have a healthier mind and body.

The series continues on April 29 (Nutrition) and May 15 (Exercise).
