Diane Heffner, saxophone, and Liz Horwitz, bassist, formed this group with the goal of performing pieces that were different and new to their repertoire. The Jet Set Octet, named as an homage to the atomic age of the 1950s-60s, performs the “West Coast Cool” jazz style of the Dave Pell Octet.
