The new Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts grant is now open.

Newton Community Pride is partnering with local musicians, visual artists, thespians and other creatives for the Linda Plaut Festival, running from May 18 to June 29, with a Festival of the Arts Grant.

You can apply for the Plaut Festival grant online.

Applications are due Feb. 28 at 5 p.m.

For anyone interested in using the War Memorial Auditorium for their festival event, the traditional fee has been waived for grant awardees.

All Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts grantees will be part of festival marketing and promotional materials, including the Festival master calendar of events.

Newton Community Pride’s spring micro grant application is also open for events happening between April 1 and Nov. 1 that will not be included in the Festival of the Arts. You can use the same application for that.
