Newtonians made their voices heard this week, loudly and clearly.

Over the weekend, progressive activist group Newton Indivisible held its weekly protest against the Trump administration next to Newton Centre Green, They’ve been out there every weekend for months, and the crowd size doesn’t seem to be going down.

On Monday, Nonantum residents gathered for a protest at City Hall and to call on the City Council to take action to get their red, white and green lines painted back onto Adams Street for the annual Italian-American Festival, which runs through this coming weekend.

And on Thursday, the League of Women Voters held its own demonstration, titled “Good Trouble,” for democracy and justice.

Here are a few photos from the week’s demonstrations.
