Back by popular demand, Newton Community Pride’s Fall Village Concert Series is set to deliver three Sunday concerts next month to add some rhythm and harmony to your pumpkin spice.

The concerts are free, accessible and open to all.

On Sept. 14, from 5 to 6 p.m., Jazz Barracudas will perform at Trio Newton, 845 Washington St., Newtonville. This band is locally legendary for its performances at Jazz Jam at Moldova (now closed) which have reemerged at Tango Mango.

On Sept. 21, from 3 to 4 p.m., Christopher Steele  will perform at the Upper Falls Depot, 94 Oak St., Upper Falls. Steele is a singer-songwriter who tells stories with his music, inspired by icons like Tom Petty and Elvis Costello.

On Sept. 28, from 3 to 4 p.m., Jim & Nick will perform at the Newton Centre Plaza. This duo specializes in upbeat music and audience fun.

“We look forward to highlighting local talented singers, songwriters, and musicians in our shared spaces,” Newton Community Pride Executive Director Blair Lesser Sullivan said. “NCP remains committed to fostering a vibrant cultural landscape and strengthening community bonds throughout Newton.”

The Fall Village Concert Series is sponsored by the Village Bank as well as other community partners and individual donors.
