April showers are getting an early start this weekend, with rain forecast from Saturday through Monday. But there’s still a drought, so the coming flowers need the ground wet, and there’s much to do all weekend that doesn’t involve the outdoors.

Go see a play about mid-century faith and morality. Check out an Arabic party. Celebrate Holi, the Hindu festival of color, with art and music. Binge eat waffles, as a rainy day mandate.
