At Fulfilled Goods, we are all about reusing and repurposing existing materials vs. tossing them in a landfill. Many of the products we stock in our refillery come to us in 5 gallon buckets. We usually send the empties back to our closed-loop partners to clean and reuse. But when we heard about global buckets – a self-watering planter made from 5 gallon buckets – we were so excited by the idea that we wanted to try it out!
Join us and Farmer Tim (our CSA partner*) as he demonstrates how to build a global bucket. We’ll provide all the supplies you need including composted soil courtesy of Black Earth Composting. Farmer Tim will be bringing a variety of tomato, pepper and eggplant plants from his greenhouse for you to choose from. So you’ll go home with your own self-watering planter ready to go! (or rather, ready to GROW! )
