Award-winning young soprano and high school junior, Valerie Luxieo, will launch her new “Valerie & Friends Community Concert Series” with a special benefit performance on Friday, April 10, bringing together emerging young musicians and accomplished professional vocalists for an evening celebrating the power of arts education.
The inaugural concert marks the beginning of a broader initiative designed to create performance opportunities for rising talent while supporting community-based arts programs. Luxieo, a First Prize winner of the American Fine Arts Festival’s International Music Competition “Golden Voices of America 2025” and the American Protégé International Classical Competition, has performed multiple times at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall.
For the series debut, Luxieo returns to her alma mater, Jackson Walnut Park School, where her musical journey began. The performance will feature a dynamic program of classical and musical theatre selections, showcasing collaboration between student performers and seasoned vocalists.
Joining Luxieo are her vocal instructors and acclaimed performers, Victoria Avetisyan and Yeghishe Manucharyan, who will appear as guest artists for the evening.
Through the “Valerie & Friends” series, Luxieo aims to build a platform that connects generations of artists while raising awareness and support for arts education in local communities.
