The United Parish of Auburndale (“UPA”) is hosting its annual PumpkinFest on Sunday, October 26th from 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM. The event includes:
• Live music
• Face painting
• Petting Zoo
• Pumpkin Decorating
• Photo booth
• Pumpkin Maze
• Raffle Baskets
• Bake Sale and, of course
• Pumpkin Sale
The Pumpkin Fest is the culmination of our October Pumpkin Patch. This is our 18th annual Patch. We get our pumpkins through Pumpkins, USA who owns the farms in New Mexico where Native Americans (Navajo) grow and harvest the pumpkins. Pumpkins, USA provides pumpkins to churches and civic organizations for fundraising. The proceeds from our pumpkin patch are distributed to Pumpkins, USA, the Navajo and the United Parish. We use our portion of the proceeds to give to the local, national and international charities that we support including Chaplains on the Way, REACH: Beyond Domestic Violence, Rise Against Hunger, Bristol Lodge, GLAD Law, BAGLY and many others.
