Join the Newton Women’s Forum for our Speaker Series in October featuring Erika Alvarez Werner, executive director of City Year Greater Boston and Shweta Bhardwaj, Board Chair of City Year Greater Boston. Founded in 1988, City Year is a well-established national non-profit with a dual mission. It partners with high-need public schools to help students build academic and social skills critical for success. Young adults serve as tutors, mentors, and role models in 29 cities across the country. City Year Greater Boston is the original City Year site. We will have a delicious catered meal, wine and nonalcoholic beverages. Come enjoy dinner with us!
