On Sept. 17, the Charles River Regional Chamber will host the first Newton Small Business Awards, part of its Newton Night at West Newton Cinema.

The Chamber announced the 2025 award honorees on Thursday, Sept. 4. They are:

• Newtonville Books
• O’Hara’s Food & Spirits
• SALT Patisserie
• Kay Masterson, Johnny’s Luncheonette & Cabot’s
• Dave Sellers, John M. Barry Boys & Girls Club
• Lauren Berman, All Over Newton

And you can be there, too, enjoying hors d’oeuvres and wine (and movie theatre popcorn) while networking with small business owners, elected officials and other community leaders.
