Speak out: Newton Beacon now publishes Letters to the Editor

Lots of things are happening in Newton. And a lot of Newtonians have opinions about the lots of things happening in Newton.

The Newton Beacon has launched a Letters & Opinion section, and we invite you to share your thoughts on whatever interests you.

Have an opinion on housing? Zoning? Traffic?

Want to share your thoughts on the city’s bike trails? Or just thank someone with a public acknowledgement?

Submit a letter to the editor and get your voice out there. But please, keep it clean.

Letters must be no more than 200 words, and topics have to relate to Newton. And if you’re stating something as fact, you have to include a source. Include your first name, last name and the city or village in which you live.

Letters must include a contact number for verification. Phone numbers will not be published.
