The Zamir Chorale of Boston, led by Artistic Director Josh Jacobson of Newton, joins forces with the acclaimed Nashirah: The Jewish Chorale of Philadelphia, for an immersive sonic experience, encompassing the audience on three sides. The program will feature music from a variety of traditions, including Hebrew, Yiddish, and Ladino songs, as well as tributes to America’s semiquincentennial. We’ll also present a moving ode to Kyiv, the birthplace of Nashirah’s conductor, Julia Zavadsky.
