Theatre Ink, Newton North High School’s Teaching and Working Theatre, proudly presents…YOU CAN’T TAKE IT WITH YOU
by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman
Step into the wonderfully wacky world of the Sycamore family, a group of lovable eccentrics who live life entirely their own way.
When Tony Kirby falls in love with Alice Sycamore and brings his proper, wealthy parents to dinner, the clash between these two very different families leads to hilarious chaos, unexpected surprises, and unforgettable comedy. At its heart, You Can’t Take It With You is a joyful celebration of doing what makes you happy—and not worrying too much about what everyone else thinks. One of America’s most beloved comedies, this valentine to an eccentric family has delighted audiences from schools and universities to Broadway for decades. Come meet the Sycamores. You’ll laugh. You’ll fall in love. And you may never look at “normal” quite the same way again.
