What the World Needs Now: Community Gathering for Justice and Peace: an afternoon event on Saturday March 21st from 2 to 5 at the First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton 1326 Washington Street Newton, MA 02465. The event will include a sing-along with Newton Folk music at 2:00 PM in the Parish Hall followed by a program at 3:00 PM in the sanctuary featuring keynote speaker Tinya Seeger, daughter of famed folksinger Pete Seeger, What the World Needs Now Interfaith Coalition Singers and Newton North Energizers. A freewill donation will support non-profit Democracy Forward. Co-sponsors for the event include the First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton, Green Newton and More Than Words.
