UNDERWOOD SCHOOL 100TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!

Underwood Elementary School will celebrate its 100th birthday on THURSDAY JUNE 6, 2024 from 2p-4p at the school/ 101 Vernon Street Newton Corner. The event begins outdoors with dignitary recognition (Mayor Fuller and Superintendent Nolan among others) and will include student performances. We will also unearth a 25 year old time capsule buried at the school’s 75th anniversary in 1999. The event then moves to the gym for the second hour for a history “museum” with photos and other artifacts on display.
