The Allen Center will host a reception for its upcoming exhibit, “Susan Adler: A Life Seen, A Legacy Remembered,” on Saturday, November 2nd, at 6:30 p.m., celebrating Susan Seidner Adler’s life and work. The exhibition of her figure paintings and soft figurines will be on display in The Allen Center gallery from November 2 to December 8, 2024. Light appetizers and refreshments will be served at the reception. Please register if you plan on attending.
Susan Seidner Adler (1935-2020) was a self-taught artist and psychotherapist known for her portraits of prominent figures, including her sister-in-law Renata Adler, and her portrait of Sylvia Plath at Smith College.
