Celebrate Halloween at the cinema! Join us for a special screening of F.W. Murnau’s “Nosferatu” (1922) with live musical accompaniment by Jeff Rapsis, a New Hampshire-based composer who specializes in creating music for silent films.

Experience the original silent film adaptation of Bram Stoker’s famous ‘Dracula’ story. Still scary after all these years—and some critics believe this version is not only the best ever done, but has actually become creepier with the passage of time.

About the Film:

In this highly influential silent horror film, the mysterious Count Orlok (Max Schreck) summons Thomas Hutter (Gustav von Wangenheim) to his remote Transylvanian castle in the mountains. The eerie Orlok seeks to buy a house near Hutter and his wife, Ellen (Greta Schroeder). After Orlok reveals his vampire nature, Hutter struggles to escape the castle, knowing that Ellen is in grave danger. Meanwhile Orlok’s servant, Knock (Alexander Granach), prepares for his master to arrive at his new home. (Rotten Tomatoes)
