Personal and community investment in education
This dialogue brings together community members with different points of view on how Newton invests in the education of young people. The purpose is for folks to speak to be understood, to listen to understand, and to deepen curiosity about perspectives (of your own and others) — on a concrete issue that affects us all.

We are a group of Newton residents, City staff, and elected officials who came together around a shared vision:
Newton Conversations envision a city where civil discourse thrives, and diverse perspectives are respected with open minds and thoughtful engagement. Together, we’ll co-create a space for reflection, honesty, and mutual respect.
Our hope is that you walk away with the sense that respectful conversation is still possible — and essential — in Newton.
