This intensely contemplative concert ventures into both the gritty and the sublime in elements related to pregnancy, expectation, childbirth, and hope, featuring three of the Mystery Sonatas by Franz Heinrich Biber: The Annunciation, the Visitation, and the Nativity, along with Baroque-style improvisation and works by Pachelbel, Muffat, and Bach. We will perform this concert at St Elizabeth’s Church in Sudbury to take advantage of the spectacular English Baroque organ built by William Drake.
