LWVN Topic Meeting on Designating a Cultural District Along Washington Street

The League of Women Voter of Newton will be holding a Topic Meeting to learn about the effort undertaken by Newton Community Pride, the Newton Cultural Alliance, the New Art Center and the Charles River Regional Chamber to make the part of Washington Street which connects West Newton and Newtonville and adjoining streets a designated Cultural District by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, pursuant to the Massachusetts Cultural Districts program.
