The League of Women Voters of Newton invites all community members to join us on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 1:30-3:30pm, at the Waban Library Center (1608 Beacon Street, Newton), for a conversation about antisemitism centered on the discussion of the novel, The Plot Against America, by Philip Roth.
City Councilor Rick Lipof will be joining us to moderate. One of the many things Councilor Lipof will be focusing on after retiring from his office as City Councilor at the end of this year is his work combating anti-Semitism.
Whether you’ve read the book or not, come engage in our discussion. Light refreshments will be served.
