Newton, MA – NewCity Church and the Parish of Saint Paul Episcopal Church are thrilled to celebrate a unique milestone this Sunday, September 15, marking one year of worshipping together at 1135 Walnut St in Newton Highlands. This joyful collaboration unites two vibrant congregations: NewCity Church, which celebrates its 6th anniversary, and the Parish of Saint Paul, now in its 141st year.
These two congregations bring together their deep-rooted traditions, offering a spiritual experience like no other. NewCity’s electric worship meets the acoustic reverence of the Parish of Saint Paul, creating a space where everyone is welcome to encounter the Spirit in new and transformative ways. Whether you’re drawn to the energy of contemporary worship or the quiet reflection of liturgical tradition, there’s a place for you here.
Most Sundays, NewCity Church gathers at 9:00 AM in the Parish Hall, while the Parish of Saint Paul holds its service at 10:30 AM in the Sanctuary. However, this Sunday, September 15, the congregations will come together for a joint service at 9:00 AM, led in NewCity’s style. All are welcome to join this special celebration of unity, worship, and community.
Come as you are and experience the Spirit and the Love.
