As Greg Maslowe steps down as Farm Director at the end of 2026, the Newton Community Farm board and staff invite the community to join them for cookies and warm cider in the barn on Sunday, October 25, from 3 to 5pm to thank and celebrate much-loved Farmer Greg and share stories.
Greg has enriched the community over his 20-plus years at the Farm with beautiful and delicious food grown here in Newton, and has built relationships with so many through his quiet, caring and wise presence on the Farm and at the Newton Farmers’ Market. Greg’s missives have graced the Newton Community Farm newsletter with wisdom about farming, weather, cooking, climate and life in general. Please stop by this informal open house to celebrate Farmer Greg.
