Frends of Newton Tennis-Mayor Annual Check Passing Ceremony

The ceremony celebrates lifelong tennis in Newton, offers an up close look at the new courts, and addresses the growing importance of public-private partnerships in the city of Newton.

At this brief event, The Friends of Newton Tennis will hand over a check for $20,000 to Mayor Ruthanne Fuller. FoNT has now donated $80,000 over the past four years and assisted in bringing 32 hard courts to world-class standards.

Mayor Fuller, FoNT board of directors, FoNT members, local tennis players, Dept of Parks Recreation and Culture staff and elected officials will be present so you will have an opportunity to share in the celebration with highly valued members of our community.
