Fire Safety Seminar

Come meet the Newton Fire Department at the Hyde Community Center, 90 Lincoln Street, and learn all about fire safety, including: how to use and maintain smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, how to use a fire extinguisher, how to deal with different types of kitchen fires, and how to prevent common tripping and electrical hazards. You will also learn about helpful assistive fire safety devices, if you have a hearing impairment, and you will receive your own Home Safety Checklist.
