Classical with a Twist: Champions for Change

The Classical with a Twist series kicks off the Cherry Street Music season at The Allen Center with a relevant and inspiring concert – Champions for Change. This event features works in honor of musical giant and staunch advocate of human rights, cellist Mstislav Rostropovich. This stirring concert is performed by CSM Director- Allison Eldredge, cello; with Max Levinson, piano; and Andres Guerra, guitar. Champions for Change includes compositions from Prokofiev, Chopin, and for a twist, film composers Maurice Jarre (Dr. Zhivago) and John Williams (Memoirs of a Geisha). Tickets are available to hear works by those who fought for art without borders.
