DESCRIPTION:The Friends of The Newton Free Library are once again (for the 5th time) hosting a Mini-Golf Weekend. Come see the Newton Free Library transformed into a mini-golf course that winds through the stacks on the second floor and finishes on the first floor. Will your skills allow you to get a hole-in-one coming down the back steps near the Teen Room?? On Saturday evening\, October 3rd (21+)\, enjoy your round of golf\, catered food\, desserts\, 2 drinks (beer/wine)\, entertainment by Elaine Woo and Friends and a great silent auction. Sunday morning\, October 4th is for families. Enjoy your round of golf\, a continental breakfast\, coffee\, tea\, etc.\, treats for the kids\, the silent auction and a chance to say hello to our loveable best friend\, Leo\, thanks to the Newton Police. This event has been a crowd-pleaser for the past four years\, and is sure to be this year. Our sponsor is the newly opened Scholars Golf Club\, on Rowe Street in Auburndale.
