DESCRIPTION:The Naumburg Award-winning Lydian String Quartet\, Ensemble in Residence at The Allen Center\, will deliver their last open rehearsal of the season. Currently rehearsing music from Beethoven String Quartet No. 2 in G major\, Beethoven String Quartet No. 15 in A minor\, and Reena Esmail’s Zeher\, expect the musicians to start and stop\, discuss phrase shaping and dynamics\, and talk between each other. Enjoy the freedom to move around and get up close to the players for this “behind the scenes” look into their rehearsal process.
