It looks like we’re in for our 12th or 13th rainy Saturday (who’s counting, really? It’s just cruel) in a row. But Sunday looks like it’s going to be a beauty. And Newton has plenty of fun to offer indoors and outdoors. And if there’s break in the rain on Saturday, there’s a nice walking tour of pollinator flowers you might like.
Newton will also have Porchfest on Saturday, and Newton Highlands will have its Village Day on Sunday, so it’s a great weekend to meet new neighbors and say hi to the ones you know.
Here are five things to do in Newton this weekend.
Friday, June 6
From 6 to 10 p.m., The Hyde Community Center Bandstand will have a concert by the Surefire Band and then stick around to watch “Dog Man“ at 90 Lincoln St.
