DESCRIPTION:Music director Philip Sanborn leads Newton’s 20-member BAY COLONY BRASS in “A Yuletide Blizzard of Brilliant Brass.” The free\, family-friendly concert of Christmas favorites ranges from Leroy Anderson’s “A Christmas Festival” to modern arrangements of traditional carols and “Christmas Toons” by Emmy Award-winning composer Anthony DiLorenzo. The concert features an audience sing-along. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Newton Cultural Council\, a local council supported by the Mass Cultural Council and the City of Newton.
