DESCRIPTION:Cherry Street Music is heating things up this summer at The Allen Center with fun\, affordable concerts every Tuesday night\, beginning July 15th at 7pm with “Hidden Gems”. Discover the music of lesser-known female composers in a unique concert experience\, which will take place in The Allen Center’s intimate performance space\, the Great Hall. Explore each composition with commentary by Cherry Street Music’s Artistic Director\, Allison Eldredge\, cello\, who will perform with pianist Max Levinson. During the second half of the program\, local singer/songwriter Gaby Dimond joins the duo for a contemporary spin on the concert’s theme\, “Hidden Gems”.
