SUMMARY:Lunchtime Pop-ups at The Allen Center
DESCRIPTION:The 3rd annual summertime pop-up series at West Newton’s Allen Center kicks off on Thursday\, July 24th with a blockbuster—reknown celebrity chef Thiago Silva of SALT Patisserie is catering lunch. Every Thursday through mid-August a different Newton restaurant pops up on the tented patio along with a rotating showcase of Newton’s small businesses. The event runs from 11:30 AM-2 PM\, and all meals must be ordered on-line. (Food will not be for sale at the pop-up.) More details coming soon about the menu\, order cut-off times and participating small businesses. In case of rain\, the pop-up moves indoors.
