DESCRIPTION:To Look for America\nThe Seraphim Singers \nEric Christopher Perry\, Music Director\nHeinrich Christensen\, Organist \nSaturday\, May 02 at 8 PM\, in person\nTrinity Parish\n11 Homer St\, Newton Centre\nOn street parking. \nSunday\, May 03 at 3 PM\, in person and streamed\nFirst Church in Cambridge\n11 Garden Street\, Cambridge\nParking in Harvard Square area garages and on street.\nNote that resident parking only signage on neighborhood streets is not in effect on Sundays. \nThis program will reflect on the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and America’s ongoing project to secure the rights to life\, liberty\, and the pursuit of happiness for all. In this final concert of the season\, we will explore American music’s role in the development of our “more perfect Union\,” bringing us together around its many voices – traditional American sacred and secular tunes\, protest songs\, jazz standards\, and contemporary choral works from diverse perspectives.
