DESCRIPTION:Join us for a walk along the ponds and streams of the Cemetery showcasing our perennial gardens. Learn about the Arboretum’s ecological diversity from shade gardens and wetland areas\, to pollinators. All ages encouraged to attend. \nThe tour will take place rain or shine. Bring comfortable walking shoes\, water\, and plenty of questions. We will meet in the Chapel parking lot. DESCRIPTION:Judy Foreman presents “The Scallop Plot: A Cape Cod Thriller\,” where a star investigative reporter Samantha Fuller joins a feisty Cape Cod fisherwoman to foil a wind farm developer’s evil plot to poison precious ocean scallop beds — and finds herself facing off against right-wing climate deniers. \nJudy Foreman is a former Boston Globe health columnist and the author of four works of nonfiction and a novel. A Wellesley College graduate\, she also holds a master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She was a Lecturer at Harvard Medical School and a Fellow at other universities\, including Harvard and MIT. She has won more than fifty journalism awards\, including a George Foster Peabody Award. She lives outside of Boston.
