SUMMARY:Newton Youth Hockey Learn to Play Hockey Program
DESCRIPTION:It’s time to start thinking hockey for the little ones as Newton Youth Hockey’s Learn to Play Hockey program is getting started next month! The primary goal of our Learn to Play Hockey program is to create an environment that engenders confidence and an interest in hockey with more information to be found at https://www.newtonyouthhockey.com/program/learn-to-play/3517\nLed by professional instructors\, all the drills and games are designed to generate as much fun as possible while teaching core hockey skills and techniques. Participants skate twice per week (once on Saturday and once on Sunday) starting on Saturday\, Nov. 9. The schedule is as follows: \nTwice a week from November to March.\nSaturdays at John A Ryan Skating Arena (1 Paramount Place\, Watertown)\n– 10:20am to 11:10am\n– Nov 9 to Mar 8 (no session Nov 30 or Dec 28)\nSundays at Daly Rink (1 Nonantum Rd\, Newton)\n– 8:00am to 8:50am\n– Nov 10 to Mar 9 (no session Dec 29)\nThe Learn to Play program is designed for skaters aged 5-11. Cost to register is $600 and you can register on the Newton Youth Hockey website. If you have a skater outside of this age range that wants to participate\, please email Joe Haggerty\, our VP of Intramurals\, to receive clearance to participate.
