SUMMARY:Subscription Series: "The American Dream and the Movies" With Professor Julie Levinson
DESCRIPTION:Throughout the past century\, Hollywood movies have been a major force in embedding the notion of the American dream in our individual aspirations\, our public discourse\, and our collective consciousness. This film series will showcase a range of movies that explore both the hopes and betrayals of the American dream. Screenings will take place once a month on Thursdays at 4:00PM. Each film will be preceded by a brief introduction and will be followed by audience discussion. \nSchedule: 8 films\, presented once monthly on Thursdays at 4:00 PM.
