Got a middle or high schooler looking for a quick, fun way to volunteer outdoors — and earn community service hours?
Newton-based nonprofit Mosaic: Interfaith Youth Action is hosting a FREE, all ages, service learning day at Needham Community Farm on Sunday, Sept 7, and we’d love to see you there! It’s a chance to meet new friends, get hands-on at the farm, and build positive interfaith connections while making a real impact. Parents and youth are welcome!
At this event, youth will:
*Learn about food insecurity and how local farms play a vital role in addressing it.
*Work hands-on at an organic farm that donates much of its fresh produce to families in need.
*Earn community service hours while making a meaningful impact.
